Update on RPG

The other night I talked my RPG project a bit on Ustream if you weren't there.  I decided though that for the people that didn't come and wanted to know a little status update, I'd make a post here.

Over all RPG is going better then great over the past few days.  I've been on a work hype so I've gotten a lot of stuff done which is awesome.  Also, now that the project is finally being laid out in video form infront of me I can officially say that RPG will be around 12 to 15 minutes long in length.  So it's a relatively big project for me.  The longest video I'll have ever done thus far at least.

Here are a few screenshots from what I've done so far:

Look forward to the video.  It'll rock your face off.  ;3

See you all tonight at 7!

Hey everyone.  I know we havent made a post in awhile but me and Mozq have both been busy busy busy with stuff.  Before I say anything for some reason my keyboard is acting weird and some keys are refusing to work on this website.  So excuse the fact that my grammar wont be ultra perfect in this post.  So anyway, back to the top at hand:  UStream.

UStream is a site where individuals are able to broadcast themselves via webcam for free while having the joy of having users enjoy their company and talk to the person broadcasting via a nice little chat box beside the video.  It's pretty nice and enjoyable.  The point is that I (Nixxiom) am going to be holding UStream sessions every other night while I work on my video RPG.  Why?  Well because it's better to talk to people then sit there alone and bored editing.  So if you're interested in talking to me, have a question for me, or just want to see where the magic happens then feel free to watch at:

I'll most likely get online tonight at around 7 US Eastern Time and I might be at a friends house so you all will get to meet some of the people that will be acting in RPG and you can ask them questions as well about what to expect.

I'll be getting online almost every night around 7 even if I'm not doing anything.  Just because it's fun to talk.

See ya there hopefully and excuse any lag that the site might give you.  I know that last night there was a big delay for me, Mozq, and a few others.  My voice came through crystal clear though so that's good. :3

Guild Promotion

So I promised my fellow guild members that I would make them a promotion video, to revive the PvP on our server, pretty much 80% of the pvpers rolled horde, so the alliance side get pretty slaughtered in battlegrounds. Anyway we made a guild called Brutally Dedicated and is focused on PvP and runs premades daily.

You can visit our website at:

Anyway, so I made the movie and I wasn't sure where to start at first, since it's the first promotion video I've ever made. Where to start? Well I got an idea after watching the movie "Troy" and you'll know what I mean once you watch the promotion video :) After that I kept on getting ideas and inspiration from music tracks after two days of browsing youtube.

A big thanks to Matt Greenburg for doing the epic trailer voice!

Anyway enough talking, here's the movie :P

As we near the deadline for the Rise to Power contest I figured I should talk a bit about what I'm making that I'll be submitting for Silverlined Productions.  Mozq wont be participating but I'll be sure to do my best to get us into a top position or an honorable mention at least.  So what is my video about?
During my last entries I stated that my video will be about someone I thought never got enough love in WotLK.  The person I speak of is Kel'Thuzad.  I love KT's backstory and I'm really excited to see how well my video does in the contest.  I am facing some big problems though in terms of time.  In the video just the first part takes up half the time limit (3 minutes) and I still have a TON I have to fit in.  So half the video may end up being kinda fast but I'm sure I can pull it off smoothly.

The Return of Mozq

Why hello there,
Some of you might think that I've quit making machinimas. But that's not true, I've just been a bit busy and ran out of ideas of what to make next. Well I will most likely be submitting a movie for the Blizzard contest. Not sure if any of you remember the old project I was working on called "Mark of Blood" that I never finished since my computer crashed and I lost the project..

Anyway, I'm going to take some of the ideas from there, the main character will be a lot like the one I'm going to use for this project, an old dude that was once a super bad ass with a nasty sword! But, lives to regret with the choices he made for the rest of his life.

I've been looking for ways to improve the visual effects and also been playing around with rendering settings to get the best quality that I can get for a reasonable file size. So hopefully the projects I release from now on will have twice the better looking colors and visual effects, and more detailed work.

Irdeen has also asked if he can help me and create the music for this project, and I without a doubt said yes. He's great at what he does, so why not. Now I'm just trying to get the voice actor I want and also the script writer that will help me write an awesome script for 3 minutes of video.

Anyways I'm glad to be back and thanks for reading :)

Greetings Everyone!

It's been awhile since we did an update so I decided it was time we had one.  Right now it's 11 at night where I live and I'm currently working on my video for Blizzard's machinima contest sponsored by Alienware.  Wewt.  So yes, I'm competing in the competition.  However, Mozq most likely wont.  Could change his mind though.

The contest itself is pretty simple.  Choose a World of Warcraft lore Hero or Villain then make a video about his/her rise or fall.  You could even do a video about your own character.  But who's actually gonna do that?  WoW is packed with more epic heroes and villains then you can shake a murloc eye at.  So did I choose Nixxiom?  Nope.  Instead I chose someone I think hasn't had very much spotlight and was branded a push over in Wrath of the Lich King.  Can't say who, but it's not Arthas.  Everyone and their grandma will make a video about Arthas after all.

So currently I'm working on my video for the Blizzard machinima contest while Mozq works on a guild video for the guild he's in.  My own personal plans for the future are to start making Machinima Tutorials after I release my Blizzard contest video.  There's a lot of new things I'm putting into the video after all that I'm sure a lot of new machinima guys would love to learn to do.  So I aim to please.

Also, if you haven't, please sign up at our forum at:

On our forum me and Mozq both will be posting other tutorials that wont be shown in a video.  So keep your eyes open there for more information you could learn from us.  Other then that I hope you all had a Merry Christmas.

Oh, and as for Revenge (Act 2):
